Fairfield Notes

Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Clarke and Misses Celeste Waddell and Maude Faucette spent a few days in Asheville recently visiting the Misses Browns.

Mr. Waddell, who has been at Halls Mill for several years, is going to move away.

The farmers who are members of the Cotton Growers Cooperative Association had a social at J.E. Taylor’s Saturday evening.

Dennis Rope has been visited by his brother’s family from Randolph.

Mrs. Ernest Wilkerson remains in bad health.

There are many corn huskings these days.
