Warren County Commissioners Re-Elect Powell Superintendent, Aug. 7, 1925

“Col.” Powell Re-elected

The many friends and especially those who are interested in the care of our unfortunates will be delighted to know that the Warren County Commissioners have re-elected “Col.” W.T. Powell for another two years as superintendent of the County. We do not know of a man so well equipped in every way as is Mr. Powell. Naturally he is a kind-hearted man and this is the most essential factor in conducting this institution, where a kind word goes so far and means so much to those whom God has entrusted in our care for protection and guidance.

It is a natural thing to “Col.” Powell to keep these unfortunates in as good cheer as it is possible to do, and it is fortunate that he does not have to acquire this gift, for it is born into the man and is a natural thing with him to speak a kind word to everybody.

May your election be unanimous at the expiration of each term is the wish of the editor who knows and appreciates what you are doing for our unfortunates.
