The boiler room at the Crystal Damp Laundry was damaged by fire at 11 o’clock Monday night.
Part of the roof and sides of the room, which is built separately from the laundry proper, were burned off. Firmen soon had the blaze under control after reaching the laundry, and the loss will not be heavy.
