A pretty event of last Monday evening was the rehearsal
party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Candler, which was a delightful
complement to Miss Margie Norvell and Mr. Don Witherspoon, after the rehearsal
for their wedding, which took place on Tuesday morning.
The house was prettily decorated with white and green, the
color scheme for the evening. The table in the dining room, around which the
wedding party were seated, was beautiful in its artistic decorations. The table
was completely covered with handsome Battenburg lace and had for a centerpiece
a tall handled green basket tied with a large bow of white tulle.
