The Woman’s Club
decided at a meeting held yesterday to begin a formal campaign against coca
cola. “We are very much in earnest in the matter,” said one of the clever,
energetic members of the club yesterday, “and our fight will be for the
protection of both men and women an especially of young people. We are sure
that the drink is hurtful and everybody knows that it is injuring a large
number of people in this city.”
