Prisoners Happy Over
Radio Gift…P.M. Williams’ Donation to County Jail Welcomed by the Inmates
Wilkes County prisoners are happy over the gift of a
handsome cabinet radio by Pat M. Williams, popular traveling salesman, who not
only donated the radio but personally installed it in the county jail.
The gift was much appreciated, Jailer J.B. Sheets stated and
the prisoners are very grateful to Mr. Williams.
The radio was installed several days ago and the inmates are
enjoying listening to the programs over the air.
