The Courier is in receipt of an announcement of the birth, September 28, of John O’Henry Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Allen of Liberty. Congratulations.
The little man, who is named for the O’Henry Hotel in Greensboro, is to be the recipient of a silver cup from the hostelry which through its manager, Mr. Rector, assumes the god-father-ship. Mr. and Mrs. Allen spent a part of their honeymoon about 18 months ago at the O’Henry.
