Kannapolis, Nov. 3—The State College Alumni association of Kannapolis held its annual banquet Thursday evening in the new Young Men Christian association building. It was strictly a social event given for the wives and lady friends of the alumni. Upon entering the artistically decorated hall each lady was presented red and white roses. A four course dinner was served.
Several musical selections were rendered by the Misses Queen Graeber, Margaret Davis, Elizabeth Robbins and Joe Pell.

Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Allen, Miss Mary Flowe with Mr. Mack Bailes, Miss Eliabeth Robbins with Mr. Zeb Bradford, Miss Hazel Faircloth with Mr. W.W. Blankney, Miss Grace Smithdeal with Mr. T.W. Alexander, Miss Margaret Davis with Mr. James Mellon, Miss Queen Graber with Mr. R.A. Deal, Miss lucy Stough with Mr. Joe Pell, and Miss Mary Mellon with Mr. R.H. Wilson.
