Last Sunday Mr. A.C. Gentry and Miss Lelia Walters surprised their friends by motoring to Durham and getting married. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G.T. Watkins.
Mrs. Gentry is the daughter of Mr. John F. Walters, and is a most charming young woman. She was educated at Oxford College. Mr. Gentry is well known to almost every one in Roxboro and Person County and is one of the leading educators of the State. Mr. and Mrs. Gentry will be at home at Bethel Hill until about May 17th, when he will take a position with the Satterfield Insurance Agency of Roxboro and will probably make his home here.
