We are glad to say at this writing that the school building at Cunningham is progressing nicely. Mr. Geo. Cunningham celebrated Easter by giving a bag dance.
Misses Rennie and Leon Taylor gave a party in honor of their friends from Reidsville, N.C., Saturday night, April 11th.
Miss Elizabeth Featherston of Roxboro has been visiting friends in Semora for the past week.
Miss Lois McSherry will leave soon for Asheville Summer Normal.
Miss Mabel Chandler of Blackstone college is at home with her parents for a few days.
Mr. Dewey Mangum left for Danville Monday to begin work.
Mrs. A.B. Scott of Lawrenceville, Va., spent the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Taylor, Semora.
Mr. Eutes Scott of West Virginia is the guest of Miss Gertrude Nelson of Semora for a few days.
Miss Agnes Whitt, principal of Semora High School, left for home in Nathalia, Va., Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Claude Chandler has him a new Ford sedan, which he is enjoying very much.
Mr. and Mrs. C.W. McSherry spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Allen.
