The principal of the East Lumberton school held a box supper in the auditorium Monday night with excellent results, due mainly to the music furnished in the West Lumberton band. Mr. D.R. Bullock is the leader and Mr. Lucian Ward is director. These men have accomplished wonderful results in the training of the West Lumberton boys. The band is composed of 16 pieces. Most of the players are amateurs, but they would vie with any band of its size in the State. They not only possess great musical possibilities, but they are stalwart men who are always ready to render a favor when opportunity presents itself.
