Wadesboro, Aug. 7—Several days ago Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Rose and children were in High Point, and in the lobby of the hotel little Miss Norma Rose picked up a valuable diamond ring. Mr. Rose told the hotel clerk of Norma’s find, and left his name and address at the hotel and came on home. Soon after he reached home a lady called up from Durham and described the ring satisfactorily, so Mr. Rose sent it to her by registered mail. The lady valued the ring at $1,000, and Mr. Rose insured it for that amount.
