An advisory board to make an investigation and survey the scope of the work that should be undertaken in the future at Caswell Training School at Kinston, was appointed by Governor A.W. McLean. Members of the advisory board are: Dr. W.S. Rankin, Raleigh, chairman; Dr. Thomas W. Vernon, Morganton; Dr. Thurman D. Kitchin, Wake Forest; W.C. Dowd Sr., Charlotte; Gilbert T. Stephenson, Raleigh; Captain Nathan O’Berry, Goldsboro; Henry A. Page, Aberdeen; and J.O. Crr, Wilmington.
