Mrs. N.T. Deaton was hostess at a delightful bridge party Thursday when she entertained honoring Mrs. V.E. Bell of Raleigh, who has been visiting in the city. Covers were laid at two tables.
Miss Margaret Ritchie was winner of the top score prize. An ice course was served at the conclusion of the game.
Mrs. Deaton’s guests included Miss Adelaide Harris, Miss Bertie Louise Willeford, Miss Louis Crowell, Miss Annis Smooth, Miss Margaret Ritchie, Miss Mary Belle Cannon, Miss Miriam Morris and Mrs. T.N. Spencer.
