The people of this neighborhood have been picking cotton.

The revival meeting which was to have begun Thursday night, September 3rd, has been put off again.

Miss Lillie Troutman, who has been spending some time with her sister, Mrs. Ila Taylor of Rowan, has returned to her home in Concord.

A very large crowd attended the singing convention at Enochville.

Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Connell spent Thursday at South Yadkin, attending the Baptist Association meeting.

J.W. Connell made a business trip to Salisbury Monday.
