In Rockingham, N.C., W.B. Cole, a wealthy cotton millman, is being tried for his life for murdering his daughter’s suitor. His statements on the stand have been sufficient to convict him. The case is being watched with great interest throughout this and other states.
It is one of those cases which will put our courts to a test as to how money can play a part in the miscarriage of justice.
