The ladies of the Lanier Club of Tryon held their annual New Year’s reception on New Year’s day at Lanier Library, with many new and old club members and visitors in attendance. Music consisting of violin, piano and vocal solos and duets were rendered in their usual high class manner. After the musical program, delightful refreshments were served to all present. This program marked the 31st anniversary of the club organization of the club.
