Four Delegates Return for Oxford Convention, May 12, 1923

Delegates Return for Oxford Convention

Mrs. Frank Griggs, Hobert Quesenbury, Stafford Warren and Rev. Wm. Gordon report a splendid trip to the Diocesan Convention at Oxford this week.

They went through the country Warrens Ford. The convention was largely attended by ministers and laymen, and the local hospitality of the finest order.

The Diocese of North Carolina made the best financial showing in its history and now numbers among the four dioceses in the United States which reaches 100 per cent.

St. Mary’s School, the Thompson orphanage and the University of the South made the best reports in their history.
