Short Circuit of Wires Causes Fire at J.B. Baker Home, May 7, 1923

Fire Sunday Morning

Fire Sunday morning at 9:15 at the home of J.B. Baker on Broad Street burned the roof of the back and side porches, causing $100 damages. It was extinguished with chemicals by the fire company. The fire was thought to have been caused by a short circuit of wires on the back porch.
