President Appoints Kiwanis Committees. . . First Meeting of the New Year Presided Over by President L.B. Beam, the New Kiwanis President

The first Kiwanis Club meeting of the new year with President L. Berge Beam, the newly elected president presiding, was held last Friday night, this being the beginning of the third year of the local club’s existence. President Beam took occasion to ask for the cooperation of every member of the club in club activities and in any movement for the good of this community.

President Beam gave every member of the club a job, by naming each on one of the committees named below, and he said he expected each to function, and thus help to make this the banner year for building.
