Salisbury, Feb. 4—Mrs. Amanda McLaughlin, aged 95, living in the western section of Rowan county, has bobbed her hair, saying she did so “just because she wanted to.” Failing to get relatives to bob the hair Mrs. McLaughlin did the work herself and made a good job of it. Despite her age, Mrs. McLaughlin is very spry, being able to do her own cooking, milk the cow and do other household chores. A movie photographer is going to Mrs. McLaughlin’s home this week to get a picture of the world’s oldest “flapper.”
