See, here’s an invitation, so please do not decline

To come to Mrs. Will Ward’s on the night of Valentine.

To party given by the Missionary Aid, you know

And give an intimation of how tall you did grow.

Drop in the bag a nickel for every foot of height,

And then to give good measure, and make it come out right

For every inch that’s over, just add an extra cent.

You’ll enjoy it all so much, you’ll say “I’m very glad I went.”
