Waynesville, N.C., Feb. 11—Mrs. Jane Powe and Miss Ethel Inman, on trial in Haywood county charged with he murder of W.A. Powe, aged resident of Hazelwood last August, were found not guilty by a jury today.
The case was handed to the jury on Saturday, and a verdict was returned today. A mistrial results at the last term of court. Mr. Powe is believed to have been poisoned, and the two women were charged with the offense.
