Knob Creek, Nov. 12—Mrs. Emanuel Crotts, age 78 years, passed away at her home on last Saturday. She had been very ill for some time and about 11 o’clock Saturday morning the death angel spread its mighty wings over the home and made it sad by claiming as its victim the loving wife. She leaves a husband and two nephews. The funeral services were conducted at St. Paul Baptist Church Sunday about 1 o’clock by Rev. Ham Cook amid a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends. Pall bearers were Coy Newton, Billie Newton, Rufus Sparks and Oscar Cook. Flower girls were Misses Estell and Vangie Mull, Gazzie and Doshie Buff. The grave was completely covered with beautiful flowers.
