Xculptor Working on Confederate Memorial on Stone Mountain to Speak in Durham, Nov. 17, 1924

Noted Sculptor to Speak at Trinity

Durham, Nov. 10—Gutzon Borglum, sculptor, who is now engaged in the carving of the Confederate Memorial on Stone Mountain at Atlanta, Georgia, will address the student body of Trinity College and the Durham Woman’s Club on November 17, it has been announced by Frank C. Brown, chairman of the lecture committee of Trinity College. Mr. Borglum will lecture on the work of carving the Memorial on Stone Mountain. His appearance at the college was procured by the Durham Woman’s Club and the college officials.
