Mr. D.W. Whitehurst, when he is not busy in his barber shop on Ann street, finds a good deal of pleasure in attending to his flower garden. At his home on Live Oak street, he has a large quantity and variety of flowers I his front and back yard and also in the sidewalk strip I front of the house. Roses, lilies, zinnias, petunias and many other kinds of flowers are all grown successfully by Mr. and Mrs. Whitehouse.
