Columbia, S.C., July 12—Funeral services were held Saturday for Rev. Richard Clark Reed, D.D., Ll.D., of the Columbia Theological seminary faculty, who was found dead in bed Thursday. He was buried in Elmwood cemetery by the side of his wife. The Rev. W.M. McPheeters, of the seminary faculty, conducted the services, with the assistance of Dr. Richard Y. Gillespie, seminary president, and others.
