A Surprise Party
A very pleasant evening was spent Friday when Misses Irene Kirk and Lora Troutman gave a surprise party honoring Miss Della Greene at her home on Parallel street.
After games and dancing, a delicious ice course was served.
Those present were: Misses Della Greene, Irene Kir, Lora Troutman, Fay Troutman, Lula Mae Ritchie, Thelma and Missouri Maudlin, Maggie and Mae Measmer, Luella Clark, “Jack” and Hazel Cook, Pauline Shelton, Lucille Mabry, Addie and Kathleen Lippard, Mildred Threadgill, Mammie Allred, bonnie Walters, Annie Litaker, Mae Love; and Messrs. Ira Wilkinson, Dave Winecoff, Earl and Lonnie Fink, connie Suther, Astor and Harry Murr, Brown and Kermit Morgan, Taylor Hunter, Charlie Howard, “Pete” Jones, Reuben Utley, Carl Benfield, Clyde Shoaf, “Wavey” Brown, George Elam, John Canup, George Freeze, Charles, James and Archie Earnhardt.
