The residence occupied by Mr. Barney Hardin, across the railroad in the West End, and belonging to Dr. McBrayer, was destroyed by fire Tuesday noon. Fire is thought to have originated from a cooking stove while the family were away from home. Practically no household goods were saved. Mr. Hardin carried no insurance.
