In an effort to meet the growing demand for more platform space, the municipal cotton yard platform is being enlarged.
Three additional 16-foot sections are being added to the present platform, which has been loaded to overflowing during this season.
This addition will add 48 more feet to the platform, enabling the truckers more loading space and allowing the inspectors and buyers to more freely scrutinize the different grades.
