One of the important adjuncts of the completion of the excellent highway of concrete between Yadkinville and the Yadkin River, connecting with the highway form the river to Winston-Salem, is M.H. Jeffries of Roanoke, Va., who came to Yadkinville some time ago as resident engineer in construction of the highway. He is 26 years old and a bachelor. He says he is proud of the 14 miles of paving that has been constructed under his direction and that it will be a great factor in the upbuilding of Yadkinville and Yadkin County.
