Peachtree, N.C.—Mrs. Gordon Dye died at her home on Peachtree on October 20th, 1925. Mrs. Dye was 46 years old. She was born on Hangingdog, reared in Fanning County, Ga., but spent her last days on Peachtree. She was a faithful and consistent member of the Baptist Church for 27 years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cloyd Pipes and interment was in the Peachtree Cemetery. Many beautiful floral offerings presented were in token of the high esteem her friends so mutually entertained for this noble woman. She leaves a husband and 12 children: Hubert, Vivian, Brosie, Hobert, Arthur, Jack, Lizzie, Thomas, William, Maggie, and Dorothy, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
