Three Infants Dead in 24 Hours, Says Coroner, Nov. 6, 1925

The coroner of Wake county was called in three cases of deaths of infants within 24 hours.

The remains of a newly-born infant was found by the side of the railroad, presumably thrown from a moving train.

On the Raleigh-Durham highway was found the remains of a child newly born, with evidences of having been choked to death.

And the third child was found to have smothered to death while in bed with its mother. A deplorable state of affairs, to say the least.
