Mrs. T.B. Wilson Died Jan. 2, 1926

Funeral Mrs. T.B. Wilson

The funeral of Mrs. Tully B. Wilson, who died at her home, 200 East Burgess Street, Friday morning, was conducted at the home by Rev. F.S. Love, assisted by Dr. S.H. Templeman and Rev. J.W. Harrell Saturday morning at 3 o’clock. There was a large attendance and many beautiful floral offerings. Mrs. J. Wesley Foreman, Mrs. Thornburn Bennett, Mrs. R.S. Fearing and Mrs. H.E. Nixon sang “Lead Kindly Light,” and in closing Rev. F.S. Love read Tennison’s “Crossing the Bar.”

Active pallbearers were C.E. Thompson, H.G. Kramer, M.B. Sawyer, William Weatherly Jr., J.H. Snowden, B.L. Banks, Frank Jones, J.V. Whitehurst, Elwood Weatherly, and S.G. Etheridge. Honorary pallbearers were: J.Q.A. Wood, B.F. Spence, Darius White, S.J. Twiford, Miles Jennings, E.F. Aydlett Sr., W.H. Weatherly Sr., Henry Whitehurst, J.C. Perry, J.M. Pool, and Dr. A.L. Pendleton.

Among those from out of town here to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Mary Foreman, Mrs. J.A. Wilson, Mrs. Margaret Latham, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilson, B.O. Colonna, and Miss Glen Perry Colonna of Norfolk, Mrs. W.L. Wilson and Fred Poyner of Moyock, and W.S. White of Richmond.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband and one son, J. Kenyon Wilson, of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Lula B. Swain of Norfolk.
