Child Injured by Bolting Car

Laurinburg, June 19—Little Janie Belle Pate, 10-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pate, who live on highway No. 24 just north of the city limits, was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when she was struck by a speeding automobile driven by Lieut. H.H. Warner of the U.S. army reserve corps.
