Thirty-five Negro county agents, home demonstration agents, and specialists spent six days in September on an educational tour through South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, according to R.E. Jones, Negro State agent.
“I found the tour inspirational and helpful in many ways, and I feel indebted to those who made it possible,” commented Plese Corbett, Alamance County agent.
Among the many points of interested visited were Coker Seed Farm, South Carolina Negro 4-H Camp, radio station and other places in Atlanta, the “Little White House” at Warm Springs, Tuskegee, Ala., and the Georgia Negro 4-H Camp.
