Bagby-Loven Wedding
A beautiful church service in the church at Linville last
Saturday solemnized the marriage of Miss Essie, the lovely and accomplished
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed S. Loven of that place, to Rev. J.W. Bagby, son of
Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Bagby of Montezuma, who is now pastor of a church in North
Dakota. A large number of friends of the two families gathered for the
occasion, the church not being large enough to hold them, and the bride was
remembered with a large number of useful and beautiful wedding presents. They
left on the afternoon train for their home in the northwest, carrying the good
wishes of a host of friends.—Newland Mountaineer
