People's Building & Loan Association Officers, October 1920

At a recent stockholder's meeting the following were elected officers of the People's Building & Loan Association: W.B. Brown, president; Hargrove Bowles, vice-president; and S.E. Haigler, secretary and treasurer. The 24th series of the association opens Saturday, November 6th, and the officer santicipate issuing several hundred new shares. The officers of Mr. Haigler, the secretary and treasurer, are in the Monroe Bank & Trust Company building, and he can be found from 8 to 12 in the morning. (From the Monroe Journal, October 8, 1920)
