The body of Lee E. Edwards, Concord boy who was killed in France, arrived in Concord this morning, and was taken to his late home at 175 Harris Street. The body will remain there until tomorrow afternoon, when it will be taken to the McGill Street Baptist Church, where the funeral services will be conducted. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery.
Representatives of the War Mothers and the American Legion will meet at the home at 2:30 o’clock.
Private Edwards will be shown military honors by Company E and the Legion.
The following pallbearers will be from the Legion: Lester Miller, Fred Blume, Espie Cannon, Joe Bost, William Glass, Jack Wadsworth, John Freeze, J.A. Goodman, M.C. Corl, B. Davis, Roy Dry, Herman Laughlin, William Bingham, John Porter and Mr. Tarlton. The firing squad will be in command of Lieut. Alston and will be composed of William Miller, Fred Rogers, James Barnhardt, Ralph Jones, Charles Barnhardt, Fred Keeslar, Charles Griffin, James Brown and Dewep Sappenfield.
