News has been received here from Martinsville of the tragic death of Robert Lee Beck, aged 2, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beck.
Mrs. Beck had placed a tube of boiling water for washing purposes on the kitchen floor. The child ran to it, tripped and fell into the tub and received such terrible injuries that death swiftly ensued.
