J.E. Shealy, former lieutenant in the United States aviation corps and one of the leading proponents of air travel in Charlotte, has plans well under way for the establishment in the near future of a passenger airway system from Charlotte to Asheville and of an eventual airway system from Wilmington to Asheville via Charlotte, it was announced on his return from Washington, where he conferred with Fritz Cremer, president of the General Airways Company.
