A collision of two automobiles occurred Sunday afternoon about 5 o’clock near Lower Creek bridge, when Mr. Ross of Lincolnton ran into Miss Bina Hamby’s Ford, tearing up the front fenders, tires, lights, etc. Miss Hamby was coming toward town and the two other cars were going from town. Mr. Ross was driving the second car and attempted to pass both cars, it is said, when there was not room to do so. Miss Hamby had her folks in the car with her. No one was hurt.
