Funeral of J.H. Knight

The funeral of J.H. Knight of Norfolk was conducted on the arrival of the 11:30 train Saturday morning in the Episcopal Cemetery by Dr. N.H.D. Wilson, pastor of the First Methodist Church. A large number of relatives and friends attended the services and many beautiful floral tributes bore a testimony of love and esteem.

Mr. Knight for many years was a resident of Elizabeth City where warm friendships were formed but for the past several years had made his home in the Bottecourt apartments at Norfolk.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Glover Knight, formerly of this city, and three brothers, G.L. Knight, W.F. Knight and J.N. Knight, all of Maryland. The ballbearers were M.R. Riggin, J.T. McCabe, W.H. Weatherly Sr., F.M. Grice Sr., Louis Selig, J.B. Ferebee, G.R. Barrow, Dr. A.L. Pendleton, R.B. Martin and A.S. Neal.
