E.S. Scott of Route 5 is installing a new incubator with a view to greater poultry production.

W.F. Pritchard of Providence township has eight fine Duroc-Jersey igs for sale, subject to registration, according to County Agent Falls.

County Agent Falls has received 100 copies of a book on diseases of horses and cattle from Congressman Hallet S. Ward. They will be distributed to farmers who wish a copy free of charge.

An unusual amount of cotto and watermelon seed has been bought by farmers of this section this year, according to N.T. Aydlett of the firm of Aydlett & Owens.

The farmers of Currituck County are much encouraged over the condition of their potato crop, according to N.T. Aydlett. He says the potatoes are up and a good stand is indicated.

Among those buying cotton seed from Buxton White Seed Company during the week were: Howard Forbes of Jarvisburg, Ransom Cahoon of Kilkenney, Wilton Walker of Currituck, W.D. Forbes of Jarvisburg, G.R. Markham of Weeksville, P.H. Forbes of Jarvisburg, A.L. Lane and Wallace O’Neal Sr. of Coinjock.

Those buying poultry feed this week from the Buxton White Seed Company were: W.J. Burgess of Shiloh, Caston Sawyer of Shiloh, Carlton Jennings of Route 1, Mrs. Willie Morgan of Route 3, H.T. Crowley of Belcross, and N.P. Jennings of Route 1.

J.E. Dailey, Route 2; W.R. Lambert, city; Emory Smith, Poplar Branch; J.T. Brothers, Route 2, all purchased seed corn from Buston White Seed Company during the week.

A number of baby chicks were purchased from the Buston White Seed Company this week by Mrs. K.A. White, Route 5; Mrs. W.D. Walker, Moyock; L.F. Smithson, Camden, and E.M. Perry, Durants Neck.

Eugene S. Scott, Route 5, bought a Queen incubator from Buxton White Seed Company a few days ago.
