Rev. John D. Smith, who recently removed from Stokes to Pilot Mountain, was recently ordained by the Presbyterian church, and he has been assigned as minister to the following named churches:

Dan River, Asbury and Collinstown churches in Stokes, and Pine Ridge and Hill’s churches in Surry county.
