Bill Coleman May Lose Vision in Left Eye, Sept. 9,1924

May Lose Eye as Result of Accident. . . Bill Coleman Painfully Hurt This Morning by Auto Accident on Raleigh Road; Cars Practically Demolished

Bill Coleman, young white man of near Rock Ridge, may lose the eyesight in his left eye as a result of an automobile accident early this morning. Coleman was also painfully cut about the face and head.

Coleman was driving a Ford car which collided with another Ford driven by Herman Boykin, another resident of Rock Ridge, on the Raleigh Road about two miles from Wilson, about 7:30 o’clock this morning. Coleman, from all indications was hurled through the windshield, receiving injuries on the face and head. Boykin escaped with a painful bruise on the chest and a cut on his arm.
