The funeral of Mrs. Ella Brogden, ??, beloved wife of Mr. Marshall Brogden, who died suddenly at her home on North Centre street about midnight Friday, will be held today at 3:30 o’clock at Providence church, of which she was a devoted member. Rev. J.M. Daniel, pastor of St. Paul M.E. church, will officiate. Messrs. Pat Sasser, W.A. Spence, C.E. Norris, H.L. Graham, John L. Best and W.D. Moore will be the pallbearers and interment will be made in the cemetery of Providence church.
Mrs. Brogden, who before marriage was Miss Ellen Jordan of Grantham’s township, is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. George Spence of Goldsboro, Mrs. Herbert Gravety of Washington, N.C., and Mrs. Luther Herring of Greenville, and four sons, Ernest and Ronald of Santa Monica, Calif., and Arthur and Emery of Jacksonville, Fla. The sympathy of all Wayne county will be extended to the grief-stricken relatives.
