A six-piece orchestra, namely, The Queen City “Coonshiners” said to be “might jazz players,” have been engaged for the night. This orchestra comes to us highly recommended form other cities where it has played numerous return engagements. They come here under an assumed name.
A large attendance is expected for the dance. Also a large crowd is certain to participate in the sumptuous barbecue to be held Thursday night.
The dance pavilion is situated upon a picturesque hilltop and is said to be the coolest place this side of the Blue Ridge mountains. Expect a big time in general. The pool will be open so come early.
