Mr. A.B. Richardson was in the city Saturday and qualified as administrator on the estate of Mrs. Nellie Rains, who lived near Rains Cross Roads. Mrs. Rains died May 27 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Southerland. She was about 70 years of age. She had suffered a stroke of paralysis some months ago and probably suffered another stoke which caused her death. She leaves several sons and daughter.
