High Point, June 11—Police and the county officers continued the search today for Jim Carter and Charlie Green, negroes, alleged to have taken part in a gun battle in which Police Officer C.J. Reeves and a negro were killed and three men were wounded Tuesday night.
Bloodhounds were used in the search, but they lost the trail after carrying officers several miles into the woods southwest of the city.
